Pass or Fail: Predators’ 2020 Winter Classic Jerseys

predatorsgroupwc

We now know what the Nashville Predators will look like when they take on the Dallas Stars during the 2020 Bridgestone Winter Classic at the Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Day. (That game will air live on NBC at 1 p.m. ET.)

The Predators (and adidas) shared the new duds on Saturday, apparently evoking the design used by Nashville hockey teams from long ago. Apparently the Predators were bold about how they revealed it to many of their local fans, too.

You can get an idea of what they look like in the post’s main image, although I’d argue the color “pops” more in this shot from the team’s gift shop. (They’re on sale now, if you dig them.)

Of course, just because something’s “retro” doesn’t mean it is guaranteed to be aesthetically pleasing. Allow me to ask in the form of a poll, then: are you fond of font?

The Dallas Stars’ 2020 Winter Classic jerseys haven’t been shared yet. My vote is for the return of this abomination.
