When the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Minnesota Wild on Friday night they will be trying to do something they have not done since the middle of November -- win a third consecutive game.
Coming off of back-to-back wins against Anaheim and Los Angeles, the Lightning are trying to keep pace in the Eastern Conference playoff race and are going to need to start stacking some wins on top of one another sooner rather than later.
They are going to get quite a challenge on Friday against a Minnesota team that has been one of the best in the NHL this season.
The Wild are coming off of an overtime loss to Chicago on Thursday night and will be getting starting goalie Devan Dubnyk back in the lineup after giving him the night off on Thursday.
