One day after trading defenseman Nikita Nesterov to the Montreal Canadiens, the Tampa Bay Lightning made a couple of additional roster moves on Friday.

First, they re-assigned veteran forward Erik Condra back to the American Hockey League after he went unclaimed on waivers last week. Condra, currently in the second year of a three-year contract that he signed with the team as a free agent before the start of the 2015-16 season, has been a bit of a disappointment with the Lightning and has only appeared in 11 games with the big club this season, recording zero points and four penalty minutes. He has spent the majority of the season playing for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League where he has 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 24 games.

Along with sending Condra back to the AHL, the team also placed two more players -- forwards Michal Bournival and Gabriel Dumount -- on waivers.

Bournival, 24, has played in 17 games for the Lightning this season scoring one goal and adding one assist. He has scored 10 goals in 106 career games with Lightning and Montreal Canadiens since the start of the 2013-14.

Dumont, 26, has appeared in eight games for the Lightning this season.

Both were signed as free agents to two-way contracts over the summer to add some organizational depth. Given the injury situation the Lightning have had to deal with at times this season to their forwards they have probably had to dig deeper into that depth than they would have liked to.

After dropping a 2-1 overtime decision to the Florida Panthers on Thursday night the Lightning, a team that reached Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals a year ago, sits six points out of the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.
