--Bruins anthem singer Rene Rancourt sang some Christmas carols during one of yesterday’s intermissions. I’m still not sure why he was on the bench next to a bear while he sang the songs, but you should just check it out for yourself. (Sportsnet)

--TSN’s Darren Dreger shares the moving story of Casey O’Brien, who’s the head coach of the Yorkton Terriers. O’Brien has faced many challenges in his playing and coaching career, including being deaf. “As a player there were more challenges I faced than I do as a coach. He also spoke about the trade to Montreal and how hard it was to leave Nashville. “I’d been there so long with some guys, they become almost like family. I wasn’t sure what to expect here, but it’s been really good so far,” said Weber. (Sports Illustrated)

--Prior to last night’s game against the Dallas Stars, Vladimir Tarasenko helped a fan fix a flat tire. Obviously, those smooth hands aren’t just for scoring goals. (Bardown)

--Here’s another feel-good story from the hockey world. T.J. Oshie and the Washington Capitals helped surprise this young boy, who lost his father in a military accident. This is awesome:
