Can we fudge the dates a bit and call this “Carey Price Rage Week?”
Not long after his startling display of violence on Kyle Palmieri, Price’s disdain was turned more inward on Friday night.
The San Jose Sharks are off to an early 4-0 lead against Price and the Montreal Canadiens, prompting a rare sight: Price getting the hook. Also rare: seeing Price glare at his own coach in Michel Therrien:
Or was it the Canadiens’ bench, in general?
Whichever way you slice it, he clearly wasn’t a happy camper.
#Habs Carey Price was on stool at end of bench for end of second period. Nowhere to be seen now.

While some big-name goalies go through streaks where they get pulled often (Henrik Lundqvist had a string of those moments last year, it seemed), this is unusual for Price.
There it is. Actually Oct 13, 2014...good stuff @PDurocherJDM https://t.co/j5hh4CUsjr

It’s tough not to think of that infamous flame-out with Patrick Roy, even if that situation happened in part because Montreal did not pull him.
BREAKING: Goalies hate giving up a lot of goals and being embarrassed.
Update: LNH.com’s Arpon Basu reports that Price declined to speak with the media after Montreal’s 4-2 loss.
For the record, Michel Therrien also said he didn't see the Carey Price glare at the bench. So no one saw it, other than everyone
