The Colorado Avalanche play the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, but captain Gabriel Landeskog will not be in the lineup.

Landeskog has missed five straight games already with a lower-body injury and it’s still up in the air as to when he will return because, according to reports, he still isn’t skating -- either with the team or on his own.

“He’s still considered day to day for me,” said coach Jared Bednar, per the Denver Post. “He’s having good days and bad days right now. He won’t play (Tuesday).”

The Avalanche, which recently got Matt Duchene back in the lineup after he dealt with a concussion, are in danger of falling right to the bottom of the Western Conference standings. They’re currently one point better than the Arizona Coyotes.

Landeskog had four goals and eight points in 15 games at the time of his injury.
