Eight days after scoring a converted touchdown and a field goal against the Montreal Canadiens, the Columbus Blue Jackets could once again potentially hit double digits on the score board.
On Saturday against the St. Louis Blues, the Blue Jackets scored seven goals by the late stages of the second period.
Jake Allen was pulled after giving up four goals on 12 shots. Carter Hutton was brought into the game and surrendered three goals on seven shots, as Columbus opened up a 7-2 lead after 40 minutes.
Another 10-spot, which set the Blue Jackets team record for most goals scored in a single game, definitely seems possible the way this one is going.
This lopsided contest comes seven days after the Blues beat Columbus 2-1 in overtime.
