The New Jersey Devils will be without forward Mike Cammalleri for a second consecutive game on Saturday as the veteran forward remains away from the team for an undisclosed personal reason.

Cammalleri was expected to play for the Devils on Friday after taking part in the morning skate, but less than an hour before faceoff the team announced he would be away from the team.

Coach John Hynes announced just before Saturday’s game (also against Buffalo) the Cammalleri will remain out of the lineup and there is currently no timetable for his return.

The 34-year-old Cammalleri is in his third season with the Devils and has three goals and three assists in 12 games. All three goals came in a recent game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Devils have won three games in a row including Friday’s 2-1 overtime win over the Sabres.
