Playing for the second time in as many nights, Sergei Bobrovsky didn’t make it out of the first period of Thursday’s game against the Boston Bruins.
The Columbus Blue Jackets goalie, who has been very good to begin the season, gave up four goals on nine shots faced, before getting the hook less than 13 minutes into the game.
Goals from Torey Krug, Matt Beleskey, Austin Czarnik and Tim Schaller -- scored 4:01 apart -- gave Boston a 4-1 lead after the first period.
