Video: Nothing lucky about Laine’s seventh goal of the season

It’s the Patrik Laine Show in Detroit tonight.

The talented Winnipeg Jets rookie scored a beauty goal Friday for his seventh of the season. After chipping the puck past Red Wings defenseman Danny Dekeyser -- certainly not his finest moment -- and then corralling the puck in mid-air, Laine walked in on his off wing and beat Petr Mrazek with a perfect shot.

That snaps a four-game scoring drought for Laine.
