Ottawa will have a new-look goalie tandem for tomorrow’s game in Calgary.

Craig Anderson, the club’s No. 1 netminder, has been granted a leave of absence to attend to a personal matter, per the Citizen.

With no timetable for his return, the club has recalled Chris Driedger from AHL Binghamton and is expected to give Andrew Hammond the start on Friday.

Anderson, 35, had previously missed time during the exhibition campaign with a personal matter he said would “eventually come out.” It’s unclear if his current absence is related to that issue.

The veteran netminder had been a lineup fixture for the Sens this year, starting five of six games while posting a 4-1-0 record. He posted a 22-save shutout against Vancouver on Tuesday.

Hammond’s lone start of the year came back on Oct. 17, in a 5-1 loss to Detroit. He was in for all five goals, finishing with 20 saves.
