The Chicago Blackhawks have had a tough start to the 2016-17 season.

Not only have they dropped each of their first two games, but they also lost forward Ryan Hartman to a lower-body injury in Friday night’s loss to the Nashville Predators.

After the game, Joel Quenneville admitted that Hartman would “miss some time,” according to CSN Chicago.

It’s unfortunate news for the young forward, who scored against St. Louis on Wednesday and added an assist before exiting yesterday’s game.

Outside of contributing offensively, Hartman was also using his speed and physical presence to provide his team with some energy.

Quenneville didn’t mention how long he’d be out, just that he’d miss more than a few games.
