Jeff Carter might not be available for Team Canada at the World Cup of Hockey.
The Kings forward reportedly suffered a lower-body injury during his off-season training.
Whether or not he’ll be able to play in the World Cup still hasn’t been determined.
Carter was a key part of Team Canada’s squad that won gold at the 2014 Olympics. The 31-year-old had three goals and two assists in six tournament games.

Carter’s been relatively healthy over the last two years, as he’s missed just five games during that time. All five came last season when he was out because of an upper-body injury.
He scored 24 goals and 62 points in 77 games with Los Angeles in 2015-16.
