The Ottawa Senators have called a news conference for Tuesday afternoon, where they’ll make “a significant hockey announcement.”

What they’ll be announcing isn’t known at this point, but some believe that it could have something to do with an outdoor game on Parliament Hill in 2017 or it might be about the team’s quest to secure some land downtown to build a new arena.

A lot of the Senators’ key decision makers are expected to be on hand at tomorrow’s press conference, which is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET. Some players will also be there.

We’ll have more details as the story unfolds.
