Calgary completed its coaching overhaul on Wednesday, announcing that former Sens bench boss Dave Cameron and AHL Utica assistant Paul Jerrard would join Glen Gulutzan’s staff as assistants.

More, from the club:

Dave Cameron joins the Flames after spending the past six seasons with the Ottawa Senators, most recently as their head coach the last two campaigns, while Paul Jerrard comes to Calgary after serving as an assistant coach for Vancouver’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Utica Comets.

Cameron, a native of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, brings 22 years of coaching experience to the Flames.

The 51-year-old Jerrard joins Calgary after 19 seasons as a coach in three different leagues.

Both moves make plenty of sense. Cameron brings a wealth of experience to the table, and has the added benefit of having served as an NHL head coach before.

Jerrard, meanwhile, has deep ties to Gulutzan.

He served as Gulutzan’s assistant in Dallas and the club’s AHL affiliate in Texas -- and the two were reunited (sort of) over the last couple of seasons, with Gulutzan working the bench in Vancouver and Jerrard working the bench for Vancouver’s top minor-league team.

So, just to recap everything Calgary has done behind the bench this offseason...
