The Arizona Coyotes announced today that they’ve signed goalie Louis Domingue to a multi-year contract.

“We are very pleased to sign Louis to a multi-year contract,” said GM John Chayka. “Louis had a breakthrough season last year and we are confident that he and Mike Smith will form a great tandem for us.”

Domingue, 24, went 15-18-5 record with a .911 save percentage in 39 games last season. He was the NHL’s Rookie of the Month in January.

No financial details of Domingue’s new deal were released by the club, but it’s a one-way deal.

Smith, 34, is signed through 2018-19 for a cap hit of $5.67 million.
