The Pittsburgh Penguins had what looked to be the perfect opportunity to take a commanding two-goal lead on the San Jose Sharks late in the second period of Game 6. Instead, Kunitz passed up a wide open net for one extra pass back to Malkin, who couldn’t corral the puck in time and missed his chance to score on Martin Jones.
The Penguins went into the second intermission with a 2-1 lead, as they look to clinch the Stanley Cup with a win tonight.
Could that be a turning point in this game? Can the Sharks conjure a comeback to force a Game 7?
