An American Hockey League game on Saturday between the Albany Devils and Bridgeport Sound Tigers descended into not one but two line brawls in the final minute of the second period.
The two teams combined for 248 penalty minutes by the time this contest was all done. The Devils won 3-0, by the way.
The first line brawl erupted suddenly from a seemingly harmless gathering of players after a whistle. Even the coaches get into it (2:05) at the benches.
The second brawl occurred after Albany forward Blake Pietila ran over Bridgeport goalie Stephon Williams, resulting in a major penalty for charging the goaltender.
