We still don’t know if Tyler Seguin will suit up in Game 2 against the Wild on Saturday night, but based on the team’s morning skate, it looks like he could sit out again.
Seguin was on the ice during the morning on-ice session, which is good. The only problem is that he didn’t skate on any particular line.
The 24-year-old suffered an Achilles injury on Mar. 17 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The original timeline for his recovery was set at three-to-four weeks. He’s now been out for four weeks and two days.
The Stars forward insists he’s ready to return to the lineup, but said head coach Lindy Ruff has the final say.
Seguin did not stay out with scratches. Said he's ready to go, but it is coach's decision.

During his post-practice media availability, Ruff said Seguin is going to be a game-time decision (shocker).

It’s certainly possible that Ruff held Seguin out of line rushes just to throw the Wild a curveball.
