Henrik Lundqvist has come up big for the New York Rangers -- again.
The Rangers goalie made a spectacular desperation glove save in the third period of Wednesday’s game with the Boston Bruins. He made one glove stop and then stretched back, right along the goal line with his left arm and robbed Lee Stempniak on the rebound.
The play went to a video review to see if the puck crossed over the goal line completely but it was deemed inconclusive.
That save maintained the Rangers 3-1 lead. They made it 4-1 shortly after on a goal from J.T. Miller.
