Nothing fancy about this.
Breaking down the left wing with speed, New York Rangers forward Derick Brassard leaned into one, ripping a slap shot over the glove hand of Jonas Gustavsson and just under the cross bar to give the host team a 3-0 lead over the visiting Bruins on Wednesday.
Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid put his stick down to deflect the puck but it appears that was just a perfect shot from Brassard, who is up to 26 goals this season.
Gustavsson entered the game to begin the second period. Tuukka Rask was pulled after allowing two goals on eight shots.
