Despite the lopsided score, the Penguins-Capitals game has been extremely entertaining. We’ve seen some weird goals and some intense battles throughout the game.
In the third period, things got ugly when Mike Weber flattened Bryan Rust from behind. Weber got a game misconduct for boarding. Fortunately for the Penguins, Rust stayed in the game.
Rust came back into the game quickly and he helped set up Justin Schultz’s goal during the ensuing power play.
After blowing a two-goal lead in the second period, the Penguins have responded by scoring four unanswered goals, including three in the third period.
They currently lead 6-2.
Some Twitter reaction:
Mike Weber got a major for boarding plus a 10-minute misconduct. He's done for the night and could take a seat against Ottawa. #CapitalsTalk

Capitals D Mike Weber, a Cranberry native, isn't making many new friends in his home territory today.
