It’s one thing to see a weird, “fluke” goal. It’s another to see two of them in such rapid succession.
That’s the odd turn of events that took place between the Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues in the first period of Monday’s game.
The boards provided a generous bounce for the Flames first goal of the night, and then the same thing (more or less) happened in the Blues’ favor mere moments later. It’s almost as if the “hockey gods” decided to even things up right away.
