In not very important Jaromir Jagr news, he’s giving up his habit of 10(!) cups of coffee per day for Lent.
(OK, maybe that’s good news for ... Jagr’s heart and blood pressure?)
In actually important Jagr news, by grabbing a secondary assist on Thursday, Jagr scored his 1,850th career point. That ties him with “Mr. Hockey” Gordie Howe for third all-time on the NHL’s points list.
There’s plenty of time for Jagr to take sole possession, and he didn’t wait long to move up the record books during his most recent jaw-dropping milestone achievement.
