Video: Mika Zibanejad made Senators history with natural hat trick in 2:38

Three goals in the span of 2:38 is an achievement that cemented Mika Zibanejad’s place in the Ottawa Senators record books.

Zibanejad recorded the natural hat trick -- the first three-goal performance of his NHL career -- in that amount of time in the third period of Saturday’s game against the Calgary Flames, giving him the record for fastest hat trick in Senators history, as per Sportsnet Stats.

The Senators trailed 4-2 heading into the third period, before Zibanejad worked his magic, propelling his team to a come-from-behind 6-4 win.
