The Minnesota Wild deserve credit for playing a solid, desperate game in front of their home crowd on Sunday.
Not only were they able to score five goals or more for the fourth straight game, but they also chased Blackhawks starter Corey Crawford from the game.
As good as the Wild were this evening, it’s hard to ignore how bad Chicago looked on the ice.
They found themselves down a goal just 3:25 into the game, and they went down 5-0 in the third period before they finally got on the board (above).
It was a disastrous performance.
Crawford: "It was tough, a little embarrassing out there to be honest, to have our fans come in and watch that." #Blackhawks

This was an important game for the ‘Hawks.
They failed to increase their one point lead over the Dallas Stars in the Central Division standings.
After the game, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville addressed Michal Rozsival’s match penalty for his hit on Jason Zucker.
Quenneville didn’t see anything wrong with the hit.
Q on Rozsival hit (1/2): "I didn’t think it was a major. Spontaneous play as a defenseman in that situation." #Blackhawks
