Give Artemi Panarin 20 goals on the season.
The 24-year-old Chicago Blackhawks forward snapped a wrist shot on the power play, beating New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist to increase Chicago’s lead to two goals during the second period of Wednesday’s game.
Panarin becomes the first NHL rookie this season to hit 20 goals. He leads Detroit’s Dylan Larkin (18 goals), and Buffalo teammates Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart (17 goals). He’s also up to 55 points on the season.
