The Rangers are getting their captain back for tonight’s big game against Chicago.
Ryan McDonagh, who’s been out with a concussion since taking a punch from Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds, will return from a four-game absence on Wednesday evening at MSG.
Ryan McDonagh says he’s fine for tonight. Dan Boyle also says he’s feeling well.

The return is a big boon, obviously. Aside from being the team’s leader, McDonagh leads all Rangers skaters in TOI (22:45 per game) and sits second among d-men in scoring with 26 points.
Tonight is also a measuring stick game for the Blueshirts. New York has won five of its last six and would love to close out this current three-game homestand with a win over the defending Stanley Cup champs.
