The New York Rangers didn’t have to wait long to get a crack at Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds.
Just eight after Simmonds concussed Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh with a punch to head, the Flyers forward was forced to drop the gloves with defenseman Dylan McIlrath.
The fight occurred just 36 seconds into the game.
