John Scott is going. And now Jaromir Jagr will also travel to Nashville for the 2016 NHL All-Star Game next weekend.
That’s according to George Richards of the Miami Herald following the Florida Panthers’ 5-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.
With their win Saturday, the Panthers lead the Atlantic Division by five points over Tampa Bay and Detroit.
The 43-year-old Jagr, who has 33 points in 45 games this season, was voted into the game as one of the division captains but did not want to attend the event -- read more about it from Saturday morning -- that includes three-on-three hockey.
.@68Jagr said he will travel to Nashville for All Star weekend but says he wishes it wasn't so time consuming. Would rather be skating here.

If Jaromir Jagr was to skip AllStarGame trip w/ 'injury,' he would likely have to sit out #FlaPanthers game at #Caps after break.
