Oy Vey: Canucks forward scores in his own net (video)

Points seem to come easy for Evgeni Malkin, but they shouldn’t come this easy!

With the Penguins trailing 3-1 in the third period, Malkin was credited with his second goal of the game when Linden Vey put the puck in his own net.

As you can tell from the video at the top of the page, Malkin centers the puck to the front of the Canucks net before Vey buries it.

The Canucks forward has as many goals in his own net (one) as he does in the opposition’s net this season.

The own goal swung the momentum Pittsburgh’s way as they’ve scored two more to take a 4-3 lead in the third period.
