Despite picking up points in five straight games, the Flyers are still four points behind the Canadiens for the final Wild Card spot in the East, but they have three games in hand.
The Red Wings are on a run of their own as they’ve won five of their last six contests. Detroit is currently second in the Atlantic Division. They’re four points behind the top seeded Panthers.
