What Stanley Cup hangover?
The Chicago Blackhawks extended their winning streak to 11 games by beating the slumping Montreal Canadiens 5-2 on Sunday night.
The streak ties a franchise record that was set almost three years ago.

‘Hawks captain Jonathan Toews scored the go-ahead goal in the second period, and he added the eventual game-winner five minutes later.
Both his goals had a small element of controversy to them.
He may have been offside on the first one (Montreal didn’t challenge the play):
And it could be argued that icing should have been called prior to his second goal:
Toews also added an assist on Marian Hossa’s empty net goal.
Chicago is now three points ahead of Dallas for top in the Central Division, but the Stars have two games in hand.
Things aren’t as rosy in Montreal. The Canadiens have dropped four in a row, and they have just four wins in their last 20 contests.
Sure, not having Carey Price hurts, but a team with Stanley Cup aspirations shouldn’t fall apart the way Montreal has over the last few weeks.
