John Scott reached the NHL All Star game, thanks to the fan vote but the big problem is he didn't play like an All Star. The guys from PHT discuss the game's flaws and how it opens players up to ridicule.

An NHL All-Star is heading to the minors.

The Coyotes assigned John Scott to the AHL’s Springfield Falcons on Wednesday.

The ‘Yotes made the move because they needed a roster spot for Kevin Connauton, who they picked up on waivers from Columbus.

Don’t worry hockey fans, Scott’s move to the AHL is only temporary.

Of course, Scott doesn’t actually deserve to be in the All-Star game, but fan voters are just having some fun with the league’s voting process.

The 33-year-old has been a healthy scratch for all but 11 of Arizona’s games this season, and he’s been waived three times. He has one assist and 25 penalty minutes while averaging 6:18 per game.
