The Florida Panthers can’t be stopped.
The Atlantic Division leaders extended their winning streak to 12 games with a 2-1 triumph over the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
When you think of classic NHL rivalries, the Panthers against the Oilers probably doesn’t enter your mind, but maybe it should.
Okay, maybe not.
But on Sunday, the two teams were involved in a chippy affair that had 66 hits (including the two below), three fights (two involving Matt Hendricks), and a player leave the game a bloody mess.

Florida got first period goals from Jaromir Jagr and Jonathan Huberdeau, while Mark Letestu scored the only goal for Edmonton.
We don’t have to wait long for a rematch between these two teams. They’ll go head-to-head in Florida on Jan. 18.
