When you’re hot, you’re hot.

The Florida Panthers hunt to extend their winning streak to nine games got off to a great start on Sunday evening.

Jaromir Jagr beat Devan Dubnyk just 27 seconds into the game put Florida on top 1-0.

Dmitry Kulikov picked up the only assist on Jagr’s 12th goal of the season.

The goal was the 734th of his career, which puts him just seven goals behind Brett Hull for third on the all-time list.

Yesterday, the 43-year-old was named as one of the division captains for the 2016 NHL All-Star game along with John Scott (Arizona), Patrick Kane (Chicago) and Alex Ovechkin (Washington).
