The Panthers’ incredible run continued on Sunday, as they defeated the Minnesota Wild by a score of 2-1.
Both of Florida’s goals were scored by Jaromir Jagr.
Not bad for a 43-year-old!
Jagr opened the scoring just 27 seconds into the game, and he added the game-winner at the 8:52 mark of the third period.
After the game, Jagr was asked about being voted to the 2016 NHL All-Star game.

The Panthers didn’t look great in this one, but Jagr’s two goals combined with a great performance from backup goalie Al Montoya helped propel them to their ninth straight victory.
“We looked like a tired bunch for whatever reason,’' coach Gerard Gallant said, per the Miami Herald. “We found a way to win, and that was huge.”
Montoya might not play often, but he’s been excellent when he has been between the pipes.
The 30-year-old has won each of his last four starts and he’s allowed just one goal in each of those contests.
The Panthers will embark on a six-game road trip starting on Tuesday in Buffalo.
They now have a three-point lead over the second place Canadiens in the Atlantic Division.
