T.J. Oshie has been money in the shootout before. If you’ll recall, he had a spectacular performance in the shootout against Russia at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
On Saturday, against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Oshie pulled off another great move, completely fooling goalie Anton Forsberg with a deke to the forehand.
Unfortunately for the Capitals, Oshie was the only Washington player to score in this shootout. The Blue Jackets eventually won the game, defeating the Capitals by a final score of 5-4.
Save. Caps lose two-straight for the first time this season and it happened at the hands of Anton Forsberg of all people. #CapitalsTalk

Blue Jackets’ forward Ryan Johansen got the last laugh, as he scored the shootout winner with a nifty move of his own.
