The votes are in and the people have spoken.

John Scott will be going to the 2016 NHL All-Star game in Nashville. Scott was one of four players voted into the game by the fans.

The other three players are Jaromir Jagr of the Florida Panthers, Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks and Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals.

Each of the NHL’s four divisions had one player voted in, and these four will serve as division captains.

Scott has been a healthy scratch in all but 11 games this season. The 33-year-old has one assist and 25 penalty minutes while averaging 6:18 of ice time per game.

The fans didn’t grant Jaromir Jagr his wish, after he asked them not to vote for him.

The 43-year-old has 11 goals and 26 points in 34 contests.

Kane leads the league in scoring with 56 points and he’s second in goals with 23.

Ovechkin has 21 goals and 34 points in ’15-16.
