Jonathan Toews ended 2015 by setting a Chicago Blackhawks single-season record. Seems fitting enough.
The Blackhawks’ captain scored during an overtime power play to give his team a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche, after Chicago coughed up a two-goal lead. That’s the 13th goal of the season for Toews.
In the process, Toews set a new Blackhawks record with his fourth OT goal of the season.
