Fans of opposing teams may enjoy booing P.K. Subban on the ice, but it’s impossible to give him the same treatment off it.
Subban-who already donated a huge sum of money to the Montreal Children’s Hospital this year-was at it again.
The Canadiens defenseman helped spread some Christmas cheer by turning the hospital’s atrium into a winter wonderland for kids and their parents.
The children got to enjoy some treats, face painting, teddy bear stuffing and more thanks to Subban.
“I have the ability as of right now to encourage other people to get involved,” Subban told NHL.com‘s Arpon Basu. “I may not always have that ability to get people to donate money and join my charity or my foundation or my events. But right now I do, so I’m trying to capitalize on that. Who knows? Hopefully I have that for the rest of my life, but why not do it now?”
That Sunday was the surprise party that just got released today. Didn't mention a thing about it.
