Since the beginning of the season, Jonathan Toews has been overshadowed by Patrick Kane and his point streak.
But on Sunday, it was the captain’s turn to steal the show.
Toews gave the ‘Hawks the win after he completed a give-and-go with Kane in overtime:
The 27-year-old has become a master of 3-on-3 overtime. Three of Toews’ 11 goals have come during the overtime period.
The Blackhawks have won three in a row and five of their last six contests. Chicago is currently in third place in the Central division.
The Sharks scored a pretty goal of their own, as Joonas Donskoi scored a breakaway goal on Corey Crawford.
Crawford: "Obviously it was a tough way to start on the first shot, I got deked out of my jock." #Blackhawks

The Sharks have lost back-to-back games, but they’re still in second place in a weak Pacific division.
