Henrik Sedin’s night is over thanks to lower-body injury

The Vancouver Canucks are a few stumbles away from slipping to the bottom of the West, and this sure won’t help matters.

Henrik Sedin suffered a lower-body injury serious enough to end his night early against the Philadelphia Flyers, as the team confirmed.

The Canucks note that he left the game in the second period … and that’s about all. With that, it’s unclear how serious this issue might be (beyond the obvious of cutting his night short).

Vancouver leans heavily on Henrik and Daniel Sedin, so this is a concern (to state the also-obvious).

The Flyers ended up beating the Canucks 2-0.
