Sharks forward Logan Couture exited Wednesday’s game against the Oilers in the second period and did not return.
The details are limited at this point, but some are speculating that Couture may have re-injured his right leg.
“I’ve got it at lower body, and that’s all I’m going to keep it at right now,” coach Peter DeBoer said after the game, per CSN.
The 26-year-old suffered a broken right fibula during a team practice on Oct. 15. The injury put him on the shelf for a total of 23 games.
It’s unclear when he suffered the injury, but CSN does have footage of his last shift:
This was just Couture’s second game back in the lineup.
