After missing Saturday’s game because of a personal matter, Sharks head coach Peter DeBoer is back behind the bench for Sunday’s tilt in Columbus.
In the hours leading up to the game, the Sharks still weren’t sure if DeBoer would make it to Nationwide Arena on time, but he did.

San Jose didn’t miss a beat without their head coach on Saturday, as they defeated the Penguins (in Pittsburgh) 3-1.
The Sharks have an opportunity to close out their road trip with a perfect 6-0 record on Sunday.
CSN Bay Area notes that San Jose has never swept a road trip longer than four games in their history.
They currently lead the Blue Jackets by a score of 1-0 at the first intermission.
