The Columbus Blue Jackets seem to have turned the corner after a brutal start to the season, but the injury bug isn’t doing them any favors.

The Jackets lost two more bodies, as Cody Goloubef (jaw) and Fedor Tyutin (upper body) both exited Friday’s win over Nashville.

Goloubef (pictured) was taken to hospital after being hit in the face with a puck.

The injury will require surgery according to beat reporter Aaron Portzline.

The news seems to be a little better for Tyutin:

In a corresponding move, Columbus has recalled Andrew Bodnarchuk from AHL Lake Erie.

The 27-year-old’s only NHL experience came in a five-game stint with the Boston Bruins during the 2009-10 season.

Bodnarchuk has two goals, eight points and 10 penalty minutes in 14 AHL games in ’15-16.

He gives the Jackets six healthy defensemen if Tyutin can’t face the Sharks on Sunday.
