The Anaheim Ducks assigned Shea Theodore to the San Diego Gulls of the AHL on Wednesday.
For the second time this season, the Ducks recalled Theodore from the minors and didn’t play him.
The move likely means that Josh Manson (illness) is ready to return.
Ducks return Shea Theodore to their AHL team in San Diego, NHL debut will have to wait a while longer. (Blog post). https://t.co/Nz0Jh3TBUd

I'm told the Ducks didn't skate today. Shea Theodore re-assigned, so I infer Manson (ill) is better and Fowler came out ok last night.

The 20-year-old has one goal, eight points, eight penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating in his first 14 games as a pro.
Theodore was Anaheim’s first round pick, 26th overall, in the 2013 Entry Draft.
Maybe the third time’s the charm?
