Carey Price took a step forward in his recovery from a lower-body injury on Saturday, as Montreal’s franchise goaltender hit the ice for 15 minutes prior to the team’s morning skate.

Price didn’t face any shots, but the fact that he was moving around on the ice can only be seen as a positive.

Getting Price back into the lineup will be key, but rookie Mike Condon has been outstanding in his place.
Condon will make his seventh straight start in Saturday’s game against Colorado. The 25-year-old has a 6-0-2 record with a 1.75 goals-against-average and a .936 save percentage in 2015-16.
