Friday’s attacks in Paris are shaking up the world, including those who follow hockey.

While that story continues to develop, the NHL is doing what it can to keep people safe at events. CNBC reports that the league “has advised its clubs to elevate security measures” in the wake of these events.

Other sports leagues such as the NFL and NBA appear to be doing the same.

Many players and other people surrounding the game have tweeted their support for Paris and sadness regarding the events.
