Three pretty sweet goals in this week’s collection.
First, a great solo marker from Flames rookie Sam Bennett, part of his two-point night in a 5-2 win over Pittsburgh (which may have been Calgary’s best game of the season).
Second, Patrick Marleau’s “NHL ’94” goal, a thing of beauty.
Third, an outstanding collaborative effort between Brian Little (provider of the outlet pass), Blake Wheeeler (provider of the primary assist) and Alexander Burmistrov, who jumped out of the penalty box to score the game-winning goal against Toronto — with just 2:05 left on the clock.
